As part of the promotion of its heritage and thanks to digital technology, the Department of Loiret offers a 360° virtual visit of the castle with music. Thus, you can see the castle from your sofa as if you were there!

A 360° virtual and guided visit of the Duke of Sully’s home with music

The castle can also be seen virtually with the Google Cultural Institute

As part of a partnership between the Department of Loiret and the Google Cultural Institute, planes equipped with photo devices flew over the castle to take shots vertically and at 45° to model the exterior architecture of the site. To view it in Google Maps and Google Earth, all you have to do is activate “satellite” mode.

Thanks to Street View technology, you can also visit or revisit the castle in an innovative and interactive fashion without a guide. From your computer or smartphone screen, spaces which are usually closed to the public (towers and moats of the castle), are exceptionally open to you

To access this visit on your computer screen, you must go to Google Maps and activate Street View mode.
You can also access the visit in augmented reality with your smartphone by downloading the Street View application (with the App Store or Google Play).
After finding Sully Castle, all you have to do is slide your phone into an augmented reality headset like the Cardboard. The result is quite impressive!
